No swimming, tanning or fake tanning for 30 days after treatment
Be able to lay still for up to 2 hours.
No pre numbing/anaesthetic on the area before arrival.
Must follow aftercare and purchase aftercare.
Recommend 1-6 medical grade LED red & NIR infrared light treatments spaced one week apart before treatment (number will depend on severity of stretch marks or scars). We can refer you to our recommended clinic.
No fish oils or blood thinners for 7 days prior to treatment and 5 days after treatment (you may need doctor consent if taking prescribed blood thinners)
No ibuprofen 24 hours before - paracetamol is ok
Minimal to nil alcohol 24 hours prior or day of treatment
Minimal to nil caffeine of any kind morning of.
No antibiotics use wait 4 weeks until finished.
No skin antibiotics for 4-6 weeks prior
No Roaccutane or Accutane for minimum 12 months

SCAR REVISION AFTERCARE

DURING THE FIRST 48 HOURS
Wash the area with gentle antiseptic soap (if possible). Pat dry the area. Apply the aftercare morning & night & as needed. Protect the treated area by always wearing clean, loose shirt pants/dress. Make sure to have clean bed sheets
DAY 2: ROUTINE FOR 7 DAYS
Every 4 to 6 hours, apply the aftercare balm in the treated area, stimulating the camouflage scar / stretch marks healing.
DURING THE FIRST 10 DAYS, NEVER:
Never Scratch - if itchy apply more aftercare. It is important that IF there is any protective scabs that they stay on during the healing process. NEVER Remove scabs.
DURING THE FIRST 10 DAYS, NEVER:
DO NOT take baths (swimming pool, beach, bathtub, spa)
NO saunas
NO excessive sweating
NO excessive heat, suffocation or friction / rubbing of the treated skin.
AVOID Tight clothes i.e: Leggings, super tight jeans etc
Sun Tanning & Fake Tanning is strictly forbidden for 20-30 days after to prevent hyper-pigmentation. No swimming in chlorinated pools 3 weeks after treatment. No direct sun / sun tanning beds for 6 weeks after treatment.
PLEASE NOTE if the area is still NOT healed after 20-30 days you must continue to stay out of the sun and using sun beds until fully healed.
Please message us prior to tanning so we can confirm if the area is healed.
After it's been confirmed area is healed, you must wear SPF on the area to keep it from burning (sunburn).
Please expect the Camouflage / Inkless treated area to be red for a couple of days, potentially weeks, followed by slight itching as the skin heals. After which, the area can turn dark for some clients; this is normal and part of the healing process.
You will see result after 4-8 weeks, depending on how fast you heal and severity of the scarring.
If you start to feel nauseous you may take Panadol.
Please schedule your follow up appointment for 6 weeks after the procedure so we can monitor your progress. It is necessary to send picture updates as required.
Follow up LED sessions may be required to stimulate blood circulation and lymphatic flow through the area. The number required will vary from person to person / area to area

SWELLING or ALLERGIC REACTION
Excessive swelling - Although rare, excessive swelling or allergic reaction may occur. If excessive swelling occurs, you should consult your doctor. If any allergic reaction causes difficulty breathing and/or swelling, call 000 or go to the Emergency room immediately.
