PRECARE

• Wash scalp the day prior or day of treatment to remove build up or styling products (hair must be dry for treatment)
• Do not apply any styling products such as sprays, gels or oils as this will impact treatment and can cause infection
• Avoid alcohol for 24 to 48 hours prior to treatment as this can affect sensitivity
• Avoid caffeine for 24 to 48hours prior to treatment (or consume minimal) as this can affect sensitivity
LED RED LIGHT THERAPY TREATMENT IN CLINIC TREATMENT
• LED Red Light Therapy stimulates blood circulation and improves overall hair health
• Promotes cellular regeneration
• Assists with strengthening the scalp and supports the natural hair growth
• Highly beneficial in commencing follicle activity
• Reduces inflammation and accelerates healing post treatment
• 10 to 15 minutes each session post treatment

AFTERCARE

IMMEDIATE AFTERCARE (First 24-72 hours)
• Avoid touching or washing your scalp for at least 24 hours after treatment. This helps the micro-channels close naturally and reduces the risk of infection
• If washing after 24 hours only use water
• For the first 72 hours, skip all hair products (shampoo, oils, sprays or gels). This allows the serum to fully absorb and work its magic.
• Only use baby shampoo (as recommended) after 72 hours and for the first two weeks to prevent irritation
ACTIVITY GUIDELINES (First 5-7 days)
• Avoid intense exercise, swimming, or saunas for 5-7 days. Sweating can interfere with healing and serum absorption.
• Sun Protection - If you are heading outdoors, wear a hat or use Nue Conceal SPF to shield your scalp from UV rays (Only use Nue Conceal SPF - other sunscreens may irritate the treated areas
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING HEALING
• Mild redness or sensitivity may occur but should fade within 24-48 hours
• If you notice prolonged irritation, swelling, or signs of infection, contact us for a follow up.

WHO IS SUITABLE FOR THIS TREATMENT?
• If you are experiencing hair thinning, early hair loss or a lack of overall hair density
• If you are looking for a non invasive, restorative solution to improve scalp health and promote new hair growth
• If you have experienced hair thinning due to ageing, stress, hormonal imbalance, temporary hair loss caused by factors including postpartum shedding or seasonal changes
• If you are looking for a complimentary treatment to support ongoing hair restoration
• If you are NOT a candidate for more invasive procedures like hair transplants
WHO IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THIS TREATMENT?
• If you have active scalp conditions such as bacterial, fungal or viral infections including folliculitis or ringworm
• If you have any open wounds, sores or unhealed injuries on the scalp
• If you have a history of keloid scarring or severe skin conditions including active psoriasis, eczema or seborrheic dermatitis
• If you have an autoimmune disorder such as lupus or active alopecia areata
• If you have uncontrolled medical conditions like diabetes or blood disorders
• If you are taking anticoagulants
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
• If you are allergic to any of the serum ingredients (refer to ingredient fact sheet below)
• If you have had a hair transplant or scalp surgery within the last 6-12 months
• If you have had laser, PRP or chemical scalp treatments in the last 4 weeks
• If you are using retinoids or exfoliating acids on your scalp

TREATMENT SCHEDULE, PATCH TESTING

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT SCHEDULE?
• Each session to be completed 4 to 6 weeks apart.
• This allows time for the scalp to heal. We do not want to be overloading the scalp or causing unnecessary inflammation
• It allows time for the serum to absorb and to work at the cellular level, giving the follicle time to respond to treatment whilst commencing the regenerative process.
• Light or superficial treatment (ideal for mild thinning or touchups) can be completed 2 to 3 weeks apart providing there is no lingering redness or sensitivity.
• 2 to 3 sessions before results will be visible
PATCH TESTING FOR ALLERGIES
• Small patch test to be completed near the ear
• Wait 48 hours to see if any allergic reactions
